Leather & Manufacturing
“Los bombos” are used to dye the leathers for 72 hours with locally sourced vegetation.
GOOD FOR THE PLANET, GOOD FOR YOU
Spanish leather has a history dating back to medieval times, and with a history that long, no wonder their leather is of the highest quality. Using only bi-product from the food industry—their vegetable dyed leather is made with natural indigenous dyes and processes; and zero harsh chemicals. The result are leather bags that change over time—they will darken with continual expose to sunlight, scratches, and contact with oils from your skin. These features allow for bags to patina beautifully over time so that eventually each bag will have its own story and be unique to the wearer.
BREAK YOUR BAG IN.
With no harsh chemicals used on the leather, the result is a stiffer bag. Yet, over time it will soften and break in like your favorite pair of leather shoes. The more you use it, it will soften in the areas you need most.
Spanish manufacturers have some of the richest history in leatherworking. We partner with a family run business in the south of Spain that has passed down their techniques for hundreds of years. We work closely with our factory to develop high end designs that not only function well but have the quality stitching that we guarantee for a lifetime.
REPAIRS AND SATISFACTION.
The bags are hand made which means sometimes human error can occur. If anything happens to your bag or hardware—we will have it fixed for free. Just email us and we’ll take care of you.
